Lenders need to ensure borrowers have mental capacity

Creditors should consider how they deal with borrowers whose mental capacity has been affected by illness or disability, a watchdog has said.

So now the OFT want us to be bloody shrinks........

I can see the headlines now - "Customer refuses to pay for £75,000 Porsche because Credo failed to establish he was not all there up top!"...........madness, utter madness. How can a finance company feasibly easablish someones mental state of mine?? After all, I think we are all prone to bouts of madness!!
